British Influence, formally the Centre for British Influence Through Europe, is an independent, cross-party pro-EU pressure group based in the United Kingdom. The group was founded in 2012 to make the case for the European Union amid increasing calls for British withdrawal from the EU. Its co-presidents are Danny Alexander (Liberal), Kenneth Clarke (Conservative) and Peter Mandelson (Labour). ==Activities== British Influence evolved out of Nucleus, a "eurorealist" campaign group founded in 2010. It seeks to put forward the case for Britain's continued membership of the European Union.〔British Influence Group website http://www.britishinfluence.org/〕 It currently runs the "Our Biggest Market" campaign 〔Our Biggest Market http://www.ourbiggestmarket.org/〕 of small business leaders who want Britain to remain the European Union. It publishes a daily email of news and views on Britain's relationship with the EU entitled "Europewatch". The group runs the "Future of Europe Forum" of leading British MPs, Peers, businessmen and former diplomats to push the UK's EU reform agenda.
